Legend has it that the ancient Egyptian Queen Cleopatra took luxurious milk baths to keep her skin soft, radiant and youthful. Yes, milk is packed with necessary vitamins and minerals that have amazing skin nourishing and rejuvenating properties. The benefits of using raw milk directly on your skin are tremendous. Let’s find out some of the ways in which you can use this powerful and easily available ingredient to improve your skin and hair.

Milk works to nourish and hydrate your skin from deep within. It can help lighten scars and dark spots over a period of time, thus leaving your skin looking clearer, brighter and more radiant.
Try this: Mix ¼ cup of raw milk with 2-4 tbsp of tomato juice and apply it all over your face and neck. Wash off with cold water after 15-20 minutes for visibly brighter skin.

Many people also swear by ‘sour milk’ to help shrink pores. Simply apply and leave the sour milk on your skin for 10-15 minutes and wash off to see results.
